Koufonisia are the two paradise islands of the Small Cyclades. The popular Pano Koufonisi and the uninhabited Kato Koufonisi will enchant you with their unspoiled and exotic beauty. If you are looking for calm, carefree and crystal clear beaches with crystal clear waters, you have probably chosen correctly!
In Pano Koufonisi you will find everything you ask for to spend the most beautiful vacation of your life! Picturesque accommodation, traditional taverns with fine fish and seafood and short distances to walk around the island. And the most important; Beaches and small bays with turquoise waters that you will never see before.
The town of Ano Koufonisi is the little noblewoman of the Cyclades. Hospitable, with flowery courtyards and whitewashed houses, it looks like it came out of a fairy tale. During the night in its alleys you will hear music and happy groups having fun accompanied by raki or drinking their drink while gazing at the sea!
To reach the wonderful beaches of the island you can follow the paths or take the boat that departs every hour from the port and get there by sea. In the port you will find the windless beach Ammos, do not hesitate to cool off in its crystal clear waters. The only sure thing is that in Koufonisia you will not need a car.
We suggest the beach of Harokopos or Finikas with the sandy shore and the turquoise waters, where you will find a tavern to enjoy your food after swimming. If you like exotic landscapes then the Italian with the golden sand will captivate you. Pori, is characterized as the most beautiful beach of the island and not unjustly while in Gala, the small pebble beach you will see the sea with the characteristic “milky” color that miraculously passes through the rocks. And we kept the best for you for the end. If you are in Pano Koufonisi do not forget to go by the Pool! An opening in the rocks creates an idyllic setting with the sea turning into a natural deep blue pool.
