Andros Wine Tasting and Highlights Tour In Detail
Your Tour starts from Batsi village to a wonderful experience.
Your first stop will be above Palaiopolis to enjoy the great ancient capital of Andros.
Your next stop will be at Menites springs. There you will enjoy the natural landscape, the lion springs and the small wallnut forest.
Then you will head to Pythara small waterfalls and the lovely sight.
When you arrive at Kourtesis winery you will feel the amazing sense that this place offers and get your senses ready for experience.
Your first stop will be at the old sheep feeder which is now a plantery and you will smell the strong smells of marjoram, louiza, thyme, mint, and thrombus.
Then you will head to the old renovated stone grape press where you will experience how they used to press grapes in the old times. You will also press the grapes yourself with your feet and leave your footprint at a white piece of paper.
Then you will start tasting the wine straight from the barrels and you will fill the tanines and the wine smells.
Many local delicaces like local cheeses and hams, but also local sweets will accompany your wine tasting.
At the end you will be guided at the vineyards where you will learn the process and the effort that it takes for the grape to be taken care of until it becomes a wine.

What happens in the event of rain?
All our bus tours run regardless of the weather. If an activity is canceled because of extreme weather conditions, you have the option to change the date, switch activity, or cancel and receive a refund.
What time is the pick-up time for the tours?
The pick-up time for all tours is the same as the meeting time indicated on your vouchers and our website. Please note that there may be a slight delay of 5-10 minutes, depending on the number of pickups we have scheduled. Please be ready 10 minutes before your trip to facilitate that.
How late can I make a booking?
You can make a booking with us literally at the last minute! Just keep in mind that there may be no seats left on the tour if you do that! We recommend booking at least one week in advance, to have the best chances of finding availability.
Which tours can I join on the same day?
This is a day tour, so you cannot participate in any of our other tours if you book it.
Cancellation Policy
Cancellations received within 5 days of the tour will incur a 50% penalty for each person.
Cancellations received within 2 days of the tour will incur a 100% penalty for each person.
Unused features are non-refundable. No shows forfeit the entire payment.
